Julia Rylen is the author of over 40 short stories and four novels. Her most recent short story, “Plenty” is available in RARE, A dark anthology of unusual secrets, winner of the 2025 AWA Fiction Anthology award. She has two upcoming novels: Once, a retelling of the King Author legend founded in historical events, and Blank, a YA dystopian novel that questions who we are when our creativity is taken away.
She lives in Florida with her husband and considers herself a jasmine tea junkie, a whale reader, and a Matter of Britain groupie.
